Aurora Capital, Inc., a privately held Florida corporation, is the parent company of subsidiaries engaged in each facet of the pre-owned automobile industry, including finance, retail sale and repair of automobiles. The company presently owns and operates a wholley-owned specialized automotive finance company, Flamingo Enterprises, Inc. (specifically referred to in this site as "Flamingo Financing") that purchases retail installment sale contracts from independent pre-owned car dealers, from the pre-owned department of franchise auto dealers and from its own pre-owned auto retail subsidiaries, Car Plaza, Inc., which operates 3 lots in South Florida. The consumers who are parties to these contracts do not meet the credit standards of traditional lenders and are commonly called sub-prime borrowers. Management believes there is substantial demand for tis loan programs since traditional funding sources cannot adequately meet, or choose to ignore, the sub-prime automotive market's needs, leaving large numbers of potential purchasers with limited financing options. In support of its automotive finance and pre-owned vehicle retail businesses, the Company also owns and operates a state of the art repair facility under the name of Dandy Wheels, Inc., which is also a Goodyear/Gemini affiliate. 

Aurora Capital’s headquarters is in Sunrise, Florida, and was formed to take advantage of opportunities for growth in the retail pre-owned automotive business. 

Because of its lean management structure and the energy and commitment of its principals, Aurora is able to move nimbly toward its goals. Aurora is focusing on exploiting the synergy of its vertically integrated finance, retail sale, maintenance and repair facilities.

Flamingo Financing purchases retail installment sales contracts from automobile dealerships located throughout South and Central Florida, specializing in customers considered poor credit risks by traditional lenders and often labeled "sub-prime." Flamingo offsets this risk by charging the maximum allowable interest rate (as per Florida Statue 520), purchasing contracts at less than face value, and employing conservative underwriting guidelines with a focus on the dealer-lender relationship. This relationship gives dealerships a trusted lending source that, when combined with traditional lenders, provides a full spectrum of financing options to cater to all their customers' needs.

In addition, Flamingo's team of skilled underwriters and collectors has made the company highly successful and has earned the respect of pre-owned automotive business community.

Flamingo Financing does not sell any of the notes it generates to institutional purchasers. Instead, installment sales contracts purchased by Flamingo Financing are held to maturity. Flamingo Financing is regulated by the Department of Financial Services.

Historically, in order to finance its operations, Flamingo Financing has borrowed funds from private investors and asset-based institutional lender.

Dandy Auto Service Center, since 1996, has been the repair facility of Aurora Capital. Aurora Capital has made the strategic decision to maintain and operate its own reconditioning center, establishing its repair operation as Dandy Auto Service Center, to serve its customers and to protect its investment, and to minimize its delinquency damages. 

Dandy Auto Service Center is now operating a state of the art service facility located in North Lauderdale, which includes 24 mechanical bays that handle all of the mechanical and body repairs.

Dandy Auto Service Center mechanics and body shop technicians are ASE certified making them experts in their field. Dandy Auto Service Center is a Good Year/Gemini fully licensed service repair facility.

Kodata is the Information Systems Division of the Aurora Companies, providing technical support and services to all facilities, as well as producing custom software linking the organization together.

Kodata Corporation is engaged in the design of Windows-based, Microsoft-compatible computer software applications for the automobile sales and finance industry. Kodata was incorporated in Florida in August 1991. In the future, the Company may decide to market Kodata's software to automotive dealers and finance companies in areas where it does not have competing operations.   

Flamingo Financing presently uses an integrated underwriting, financing, and collections application designed by Kodata which operates through separate modules that are capable of producing installment sales contracts, schedules of amortization, collections and late payment reports, and other statistical information needed for the collection business. Kodata's sophisticated applications software enables its users to monitor Flamingo Financing's automobile-related accounts receivable portfolio online in real-time, providing Flamingo Financing's management with the necessary tools to monitor its portfolio effectively.

In addition to its financing-related applications, Kodata has custom-designed a sales-related application, which allows for easy monitoring of Car Plaza's automobile inventory and sales performance. The sales module produces automated buyer’s orders, sales tax reports, and all of the Department of Motor Vehicles forms required to register a vehicle, as well as marketing management tools that monitor marketing efforts, producing sales results per car lot and per salesperson, among other items.

D.O.P is the Real Estate Division of Aurora Capital, providing property management and leasing of company properties to its Car Plaza affiliate.

D.O.P. Investments was incorporated in Florida in July 1993. as the real estate division of Aurora , and it currently owns various properties including Car Plaza lots. D.O.P. currently owns the property for Car Plaza of Plantation, Car Plaza Davie, and Car Plaza of North Lauderdale. 

Eversure Reinsurance Company, Ltd. (“Eversure”) was incorporated in the Turks and Caicos Islands in August 1995. Eversure is engaged in the management of warranty contracts on behalf of its other affiliates. Eversure provides reinsurance and underwriting services for the Aurora Companies.
